Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the booth rent payment website operated by Lala's Beauty and Nails LLC ("the Salon", "we", "us"), located at [Street Address], [City], CA [ZIP]. By signing in or making a payment you agree to these Terms, our Refund Policy, our Cancellation Policy, our ACH Debit Authorization, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Who may use this site

This site is for current booth rental tenants of the Salon who have signed a written Booth Rental Agreement and received an account invitation from us. It is not a public marketplace. You must be at least 18 years old and hold any license required to perform your services in the State of CA.

2. The service you are paying for

Charges on this site are for rental of a designated salon booth or nail station, including access to shared facilities (reception, shampoo bowls, restrooms, Wi‑Fi, and utilities) during posted salon hours, as further described in your Booth Rental Agreement. You operate as an independent professional; the Salon does not employ you, set your prices, or control your clients.

3. Rent, pricing, and currency

Your rent amount, billing cadence (weekly, every two weeks, or monthly), and due day are set in your Booth Rental Agreement and displayed in your account. All amounts are in United States dollars (USD). The exact total is shown on every payment screen before you authorize it. Rent is payable in advance for each rental period. We will give you at least 30 days written notice before any change to your rent amount or due day.

4. Late payments

Rent not received within 3 days after the due date may incur a late fee of $25.00 USD per rental period. Repeated late or returned payments are grounds for termination under your Booth Rental Agreement. We do not charge a separate fee for returned bank debits.

5. Payment method

Payments on this site are made by ACH Direct Debit from a US bank account and are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). We do not accept payment cards on this site. When you link a bank account you will be asked to accept an ACH debit authorization (mandate). ACH debits typically take 1–4 business days to clear; a payment is not complete until your bank confirms it. Stripe's handling of your bank details is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

6. Autopay

If you enroll in autopay, you authorize us to debit your linked bank account for your recurring rent amount on each due date, and for any additional charges you have separately approved, until you cancel. The amount is always your then-current rent as stated in your Booth Rental Agreement and shown in your account. You may cancel autopay at any time from your account or by written notice; please allow up to 30 days for cancellation to take effect. We will notify you at least 7 days in advance if the timing of a recurring debit changes.

7. Refunds and cancellations

Refund eligibility, autopay cancellation, and lease termination are described in our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy, which are part of these Terms.

8. Account security

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep your email account secure and tell us immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your tenant account. You are responsible for keeping your contact and bank information current.

9. Restrictions

Booth rentals are available only to licensed professionals for lawful beauty services performed on the Salon premises. This site may only be used to pay charges owed to the Salon under a Booth Rental Agreement. We do not sell products or ship goods through this site, and no export restrictions apply.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The website is provided "as is". We are not liable for delays or failures caused by your bank, Stripe, or events outside our reasonable control. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from use of this site is limited to the amount of the payment in dispute. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under your Booth Rental Agreement or applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. Material changes will be emailed to tenants at least 30 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of CA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [City], CA.
